Geek Of The Week March 5, 2010

YAY! It is another geeky music thing! I do not think I have to say again that when geekery and music are combined, a happy Jules becomes a very happy Jules, indeed.

Last week, I post a video of an awesome Rube Goldberg machine. Today I came across the following music video which includes a Rube Goldberg machine. Now not only do I find the music pleasant, but what I find to be “OMFG! SWEET BABY JEEBUS, THAT IS AWESOME!” about this is 1) a lot of trial and error goes into making a Rube Goldberg machine, and 2) THEY WERE ABLE TO TIME THE BLOODY THING TO MUSIC!!1!!

This awesome was designed and built by the band OK Go, along with members Synn Labs (http://syynlabs.com/ ), and of course took several months. This is the official video for OK Go’s song “This Too Shall Pass” from the album “Of the Blue Colour of the Sky“. Behold!
