Rocket Man William Shatner Launches Into Myouterspace

If you do not follow William Shatner on Twitter (@WilliamShatner), you may have missed the announcement he made yesterday of a new social networking site created by the Admiral himself, called MYOUTERSPACE.
In his own words transcribed from his welcome video:
Welcome to MYOUTERSPACE. A brand new community of sci-fi, horror and fantasy lovers. I’m William Shatner, and I’d like to invite all of you, who wish to act, perform, write, direct or compose music. From actor to animator, register now on the planet that hosts your specific talent. Join us today as we aim for the stars. MYOUTERSPACE.COM.
Visitors to the site will not be able to participate, you must register and become a “citizen of a United Planet”.
Ensign Crusher, take us to 206.62 by 110.227, warp 9. Engage! (Yes I know there is a missing coordinate but IP addresses do not really translate well into spatial coordinates.)

Looks great if you are from the states.
But trying to register from anywhere else says you have entered or missed invalid information if you don’t select a US state that you are *from*.
Selecting another country doesn’t make the states list go away.
Well that certainly is a huge problem. I wonder if there is a link some where on the site to alert them of that. I will have to check later.
