Tom Feister Interview

On Friday, October 7, 2011, I had the great pleasure of sitting down with illustrator, Tom Feister (@tomfeister) for a very candid and fun interview, for the Geeky Pleasures Radio Show, over at The Look 24/7 (@TheLook247).

As what appears to have become the norm when I do interviews, there was small tech issues where we lost the call. Hopefully, this doesn’t become too distracting. Also, there were many, as Tom put it, ‘Oprah moments’.

And now, the show notes:

  • Things we discussed during the interview include: Being an illustrator, animator and designer; The process and tools; Getting into the business; Action figures; Comics and art; Leaving Pennsylvania and starting Studio Revolver; Jack Feister Age 7 Unemployed, children and the internet, Autism and ADHD; Steve Jobs; Generation Peter Pan and teenage years; Our childhood, our children, boys and girls.
  • There is some NSFW language.
  • At the beginning of the interview, you’ll hear the Geeky Pleasures Radio Show theme song by Chris Cogott (@chriscogott)
  • The length of the interview is 2 hours 27 minutes 57 seconds
  • The size is 135 MB
  • The format is mp3, 128 kbps, 44.1 kHz, stereo
  • To download the interview, right click save as this link.

Alternatively, you can stream it below. If you are viewing this in an RSS reader, you may need to visit the site in order to stream it.

Enjoy!
